Completed Thesis Animation!

MICA Animation '10 Senior Thesis project. This is my final HD render of the project. There are still a number of things I'd like to have fixed(some render issues, sound syncing issues, etc.), but overall I'm pretty happy with the way that the piece turned out. All models and animation were created in 3d Studio Max 2010, sound in ProTools, and video editing in After Effects CS4.

Edited these a little bit, made some of the surfaces reflective and rendered the scenes out in HD.

Brightened these up a bit for printing purposes.

Rough draft of part 1 of my senior thesis. There are a few very short pieces missing, but this is a test with some effects and sound. I've composited the clips in adobe after effects and sound was done in protools.

Digital painting practice. I don't digital paint terribly often and I felt the need to work on something for fun as a break from thesis so I did this painting inspired by this awesome hat my friend Marija has.

Unfortunately I was forced to remove the volume light from my direct lights in order to have any possibility at actually completing my renders on time.

Rough render of scene 1 of my thesis animation. It likely won't end up changing very much from where it is at in this. Certainly needs to be rendered out bigger though.
